Unfortunately there are DICE products being sold by dealers or internet sites that are not authorized by DICE. Typically products sold by these unauthorized companies were not obtained directly from DICE Electronics.

Unauthorized dealers may deceive consumers by implying the product is covered by DICE’s warranty policy. Any products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to DICE’s warranty coverage. We are using our best efforts to prohibit companies from taking advantage of consumers, but these practices still exist. Unauthorized dealers will often remove or alter the serial number label. Removal, alteration, or tampering of the original DICE serial number label will automatically void the warranty on that product.

Serial number tracking
DICE products have a serial number with a bar code applied to the product and the individual unit boxes. All serial numbers are scanned, recorded and tracked prior to shipping to our authorized retailers.

Electronic serial numbers
DICE products also have the serial number embedded into the CPU in each unit. This serial number can not be removed and is used to manage our software updates and can be easily read by plugging the unit into a computer.

Community police
Our Authorized Dealers make up a community of retailers that care about your customer satisfaction. They constantly search the internet and report back to us any suspicious activity. Any suspicious sales of DICE products will be investigated and if proven to be unauthorized activity of any type, legal action will be taken.

• Authorized dealers offer full factory warranties on all DICE products. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or sources do not have a factory warranty.

• Authorized dealers have signed a Dealer Agreement that allows sales only from approved locations and or web sites. The resale of DICE product to unauthorized dealers is prohibited.
