it sounds real good in my bmw, did not want to spend $500 for the dealer ipod and lose the cd changer, this sounds pretty good, almost cd like, no static (pro kit) and very easy to install, i had the dice kit for my e39 that removed the cd changer and direct connect and this sound is almost the same
